A crack doesn't magically materialise as soon as a patch is released - it has to be made by the crack fairies...so do not request again GH

Ok, here is how to get a No-CD over night.

When you go to sleep you put your original CM4 cd under your pillow and during the night the Crack Fairy will come and replace your original CM 4 cd with a rewritable that contains a no-cd patch for the latest versions.

Of course you need multiple copies (all originals) for all the patches. :D

P.S. Sorry, couldn't help with when i saw GH's green text :D

I suggest you learn how to crack commercial copy protections (this is Securom 4.8 + Triggers possibly) and see if you can beat the big release groups GH

took me awhile to figure out d-day's method but i think i got it. it's not actually complicated.

just make sure that the cm4 copy cd is not in any of your drives, including alcohol 120% drive's (that's what happened to me, making the copy protection failed show up).

i tried the daemon method as instructed, but i just get a blankk screen and nothing else happens.

and before the blank screen, i get this message.

You can download the official patch and then the No-CD. No-CD's are easier to find then cracked full updates.

A few points.

1) Theres an error on the main site. Where the 4.08 crack is, it lists it as 4.07
2) Why is the new crack not in the form of a zip file? The exstension is .rar, which i have not heard of.
3)Why are you lot such arses to new members and people who ask a question which may have been remotely answered. i have read the boards a few times before registering and I saw one person banned for his first post. May i suggest you all lighten up, and do not follow any poor example set by following this attitude.

I fully expect to get banned for just saying this lol, but surely you should try and keep members, expecially by the lack of posts.

2. .rar is WinRar extention...and it's compressed files bether....
3. Many newbie don't read the boarder rules. And if they break the boarder rules by there first post....then they get theme self banned. But it depands on, how much they have break the boarder rules, and if the Moderator is :D or :mad: ....

I think this comment comes from the Ban on the first page of this Page... Basically I didnt like the guys attitude, No further explaination needed... Another thing, a lot of people who view or post in the CM4 threads are far from regulars on these boards... They are the type of people who demand cracks right away or want an explaination as to why a crack is not available right away...Why should we be courteous to them when they contribute absolute jack to the forums or GCW? One more thing, this thread has been cleaned up quite a bit, so you have missed some of the whiners and complainers who do frequent this thread...

Can anyone help me with this?

I have a cd for CM4 but I want to play it on my laptop which doesn't have a CD drive. So I got the no-cd exe from here and my desktop computer running W98 it worked no problem -I don't need the CD. But then I copied all the files from one machine to the other and started the game using the same No-cd exe as before but this time (Windows XP) the game tells me that the CD is 'not detected'???

Just to see that I there wasn't something missing in the transfer of files I transferred everything to another folder on my desktop computer and tried it - and it worked.

As I said I don't have a CD drive in my laptop - even though it's a NO-cd exe does the game still look for a drive albeitthere is no cd in it? Is there any way around this?

Thanks to anyone if they can help.

copy the CD to the laptops harddriver...and install from the harddisk....
Then update to the latest patch EP5 then crack it... it should work then.. ;)

Does the registry in XP act differently than in W98. Do I need to make any entries\changes to it?

011000, get yourself WinRAR (http://www.rarlabs.com) or WinACE (http://www.winace.com).. Most people on here prefer WinRAR..

There is an entry in the registry on the machine where the crack works successfully that refers to CM4X.ISO so hopefully that's what I need to be on the laptop too.

I don't know much about this stuff so I'll mess around with it a bit.

Hi there.

I've normally just downloaded the EP5 fix from gamecopyworld and slapped it on my copy of CM4 but this time round when I came to updating it, I discovered that there wasn't one. I looked around for a few hours and came across this very useful board. Then I realised (through you nice people) that the EP5 cracked exe was always there but listed as 4.07. So, I downloaded it as normal (2.46 MB i think). When I opened the file, I only saw one file which the usual .nfo file from Deviance. The nfo file was 4kb in size but the archive was 2.46MB. The nfo file was shown on Winace as the ONLY file that could be extracted.

I ran an archive check on it and discovered that there was in fact a cm4.exe file in there but that it had a crc error in it. Okay I said, this happens sometimes. Normally I just download it again and the problem is solved. Well, I downloaded it again and the same thing happened. CRC-error in CM4.exe. I've downloaded the same file 4 times now and the same thing keeps happening.

So I was wondering if one of you nice folks could help me out. Try and help me understand what I haven't done right. I've done everything I would normally do which generally is to re-download and that's the problem solved. Please could someone help me as I am at wits end. I do own CM4 but as with others who own CM4 but use the crack, I don't like it in my CD drive. The thought of it grinding away in my drive ain't nice. I like to keep my CD's in good condition. My CM2 CD is in mint condition!!!

Hope I've explained the problem. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide!!!

So you're trying to open a winRAR file with WinACE, and you're surprised it doesn't work ? Might I suggest you try WinRAR 3.0 or later ? It WILL work a lot better than WinACE, at least on .rar files...

Any way Winrar is the ultimated tool my meaning. And most of the cracking sites and crackers use winrar as a compressor!

winrar is the best compression / decompression utily available.
get v3.20 from www.rarlabs.com and your crc errors will be gone...

I have Champ Manager 4.01 cracked by Divine (I think), I'm trying to upgrade to 4.08. I have downloaded EP5 from sigames (408_enhance_nodata(1).exe) and the no cd crack from game copy world (dev-cm48.rar). Following the instructions at GCW I try to apply the patch but after it unzips I get two error messages - 'unable to read current installation folder - unable to read current install version info, and the installation is aborted. I am able to write the original exe over with the no cd crack and the game runs, but I'm wondering if the patch hasn't been applied and I'm missing out on the enhancements. Can anyone help me out
