Well a few people have been asking for it around various forums, it is here: ************* (http://******************.com/pcgamefixesC.htm)

Works multiplayer too!

It doesnt work at all. I did following:

1. Install the game
2. intall patch 1.06
3. used the above link. The download contains just the game.dat.
4. copied the game.dat in my generals folder.

tested: still requires the cd rom.

Reason: The generals.exe is still the same and the game.dat alone wont solve this problem.


SUCKS.

Btw: If u go online with the 1.05 generals.exe which was cracked all games are grey, u cant join any, its says Game is different version. Now what we need is a new cracked generals 1.06exe.

Have you copied over the version 1.00 cracked generals.exe

yes, reinstalled all again and tried that. if u copy any other then the original exe in your folder and start game, u can get online but the games in lobby appear grey and u get the message: failed to join room game is different version.

This is total BS. Team deviance just wanted to be the first to realease, see what happened,.......SUCKS.

Well I got the CD so I can get by till the good one (nocd) comes along,but I do get tired of putting in the CD besides I forget most of the time to put in the Game CD when I play LOL.:).
I guess i,m spoiled.

Well I didn't want to make a new thread about the problem I had with the NOCD for Geaneral patch 1.06.

I downloaded the NOCD from GCW for Gen patch 1.06 but none of them worked for me--First Time it has ever happen to me on GCW :).
Well what I did I played around with the diff ones (nocd,s)I ended up with the following to get Generals to work.The first one "Dev.ccg6 GAME.DAT" and hooked it up with "RK.ccgv106 generals.exe".and it work like a french poodle begging for a sugar cube.So if you have the same problem getting one to work try mixing the two above.

1- Deviance is the Maker for ---> Dev.ccg6 GAME.DAT

2- Reaper Knights (Skaper) is the Maker for --> RK.ccgv-mp 106 "generals.exe"

I want to thank Dev and RK for there work,also the rest for there effort ,now I can put away my CD untill the next game patch :).

Generals has Safedisc protection on the generals.exe, not game.dat so you need the fixed generals.exe as well as a proper NoCD'd game.dat to make a full NoCD patch.

As far as I know the generals.exe has never been updated in any patch yet.

Two peaces of Generals 1.06 crack has been released on the GameCopyWorld.

It works for me....

I thought EA have deleted SafeDisc protection in the generals.exe file....:rolleyes:

Well the mp works fine. We just had a lan party but the single player still asks for the cd. I guess C & C Generals is kinda like BF1942 cause there's really 2 different cracks inside.

There are 2 cracks. One that contains Game.dat and one that contains Generals.exe...

You need both!
