I recently got a new computer (vaio). It played aoeii conq 1.0 fine but wouldn't play the "c" patch. I got a no cd file (bsk_1.0c.rar i think) which made it, and my other machines on the lan work fine in single player without disc. BUT, now in multiplayer, when you go to start the game it tells the host that there is no cd in drive (even if there is). Help.

Been a long time since I dealt with that. As I recalled the BSK 1.0c version doesnt truly work for multiplayer and registering a CD in the drive.

I ended up using the Myth version which overdoes the CD trick, it registers everyone as having a CD in. I believe it was called MYTAOEC1.ACE
