operation flashpoint patch: problem

hello everyone, i am sorry if my request seems to be stupid but I am a newbie in this kind of things.

So, my terrible problem is: I installed Operation Flashpoint (EU versrino, so 1.00), i downloaded the patch to update the game to version 1.10 but the setup tells me that I do not have the originalk cd inside. The .exe file is the original one (i didn't apply any kind of no-cd fix).

What can I do to install the bloody patch?

The patch is safedisc 2 protected, so you'll need your original cd or a good copy in the drive to upgrade. DO you still have the original cd ?

no I lost my original cd one year ago somewhere in naples... now I am using a copy.

Then this is the end of the thread. Read this (http://www2.fileforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43646), and contact the publisher for a replacement cd. It will cost a bit of money, but not as much as buying it again (your only other option).
