my copies dont work how can that be. i did what the manual said

You need to provide a lot more info than that if you want help such as: do you have a mod installed(if so which one), how did you burn them, what type and brand of media did you use, are you having probs with cd or dvd backups or both, what version ps2 do you have? What manual are you refering to?
