PS2 Game was copied...

My brother backed up a game of mine (Dark Cloud 2) Now when I start the game on my PS2 it goes to the Browser and System Config screen for a few seconds and then loads up! Any ideas why this is happening?

It taking a bit longer to boot up, thats all.

Try cleaning the disc, then try running a cleaning disc through the ps2 a few times.

Also try re caling your laser by switching into diagnostic mode on ps2 and then booting up the offending game.

How would I go into diagnostic mode?

Go to the drivers menu, go to the ps2 version number and select options ( try reading yr ps2 manual!)

I just got my liteon burner and try to burn the medal of honor (original) from my friend, my ps2 is from hk and its already moded so no need to swap the disc. The game kind of work it can load up everything and to the game screen, when I start a mission and during the loading it hangs, the disc is new and perfectly no scratch do you know anything that will cause this. Oh by the way I just use nero to burn it, I just put in the original and choose the copy cd option, did I do anything wrong

Please help or give me some advise

Try CloneCD instead and follow the tutorial in the backup procedures sticky.
