Gothic 2

While playing Gothic 2 from a copy, I get the message '' Copy protection error'' as soon as I attack an enemy. I cannot injure
the said enemy therefore I die.....:( . What is this protection and how can I solve this problem???

Download Protection ID (link can be found down in my signature) and scan the .exe file!

I think it's SecuRom 4.8 with Triggers....some one who agree?

use the working crack by DRUNK to play the game without cd.

hii, i have the same problem, and i used the no-cd crack exe but the problem still apears, what i must do???

I have the same problem as well. Could this be because I by a mistake installed the game from my backup CD's, and not from my originals? Do I have to re-install the game using my original CD's to get this to work?

I think its unimportant from where you install the game, when you get a protection error while playing the game.

OK, I got it working. Had to start a completely new game (don't continue a savegame). Don't really know why it didn't work the first time, since I believe I did approximately the same both times... Oh well, now it works :) Thanks :)
