Diablo 2 LoD, NO cracks work for it! Any help?

I have several young children in my house hold and I never plau games with the original CD's anymore, as they are always destroyed by those less carefull then myself.

EVERY CD crack for Diablo exspansion 1.09d asks for you to copy the file D2xmusic.mpq from the CD to the directory. Well there IS no D2Xmusic.mpq on the LoD CD, and every single crack I have tried hasent worked....... anyone have any ideas?


Edit: To add I've looked EVERYWHERE and cant find one that has worked, even megagames, and reading the first 3 pages for "diablo" when searching for that word on this forum......

That file is on the D2 play cd, copy it from there. If I remember correctly, you need to copy d2xmusic.mpq and d2xvideo.mpq from the LOD cd too.

Already tried copying d2music.mpq from the play CD, didnt help. There is a d2xvideo.mpq on the LOD CD, but there is no dx2music.mpq on it.

I'm working from memory here, so it might be called something else. However there really was a second mpq file you had to copy from the loD cd. Just check and see which mpq file is on the cd but not in your D2 game directory on hard disk and copy that file. You definitely need those three files and it should work then.

I copied every MPQ from the LoD CD to my D2 directory, no luck. Still says "please insert exspansion disc".
