Has anyone backed up the movie Blade 2. I've tried dvd decrypter and dvd shrink but I'm getting the error msj dvd css failed, reason is data error (cyclic). Is this protected in anyway or could it be because its a rental disc. I have also noticed a small scratch about 10mm from the inner ring, but it does'nt look bad. Help please.

CRC error is usually attributed to dirty/scratched media - looks like the scratch is causing the problem.

Agree with Ghosthacker...sounds like yer original media is badly scratched....one of 2 options here...get another disc to try or buy a disc repair kit from your local computer or electrical store...have used them with pretty good results in the past.
