It's been over two weeks, and hoping someone will make a fixed.exe for latest patch! :p
Patch version is American 1.20 beta

P.S. It's no longer a beta version...it's the real McCoy! :D

I think noone will make a fix for a beta-patch.
They will wait for the official release of the patch.

But.... perhaps you have luck...

What does the error message say exactly ? And have you considered using Alcohol120% to make an image of your original and run that from the hard disk ? Oh, and I assume you kow that a fixed exe still requires the cd in the drive to play, although it can be any backup cd.

Hey Ruffry, I had that same problem, but once I did what darklite00 said to do, I had no problem, in another RE thread, this is what he suggested...Install the game, then download the latest patch (1.4) for the game, then START to install the patch, but after it extracts files and before you click on the 'Start Patching' button, do a search in your temp dir for re. You should find the folder and exe. Go to folder and copy and paste all contents over to your RE installation folder. Once you do that you can cancel the install.. then install the 1.4 crack.
After I did this, the game ran perfectly for me. :)
