Hopefully with the will of the gods... ahem mods (btw, Rincewind, were you mod last month or last 2 months when i came here last time?) they won't close this thread and will keep it as the single one open.
GO here and search in this huge thread about mirrors to where to download the official patch.

As it is, I've already deleted two dumb cm4 threads without any worthwhile content WHATSOEVER and closed another three. I'm seriously thinking about banning too, but I suggest we reserve that for those who persist and just delete/close the first timers.
Edit : the rules are there for everybody, and that includes the cm4 fans. After all, do you guys really want to be called HOOLIGANS ? Thought not...
First,install the EP4,then take the file CM4.exe which has been update to 4.07 out.Use winiso,let CM4.exe to CM4.iso.now,read the ISO by Daemon Tool.then you can Play the Game.

It means make CM4.exe to CM4.iso by WinISO,then read CM4.iso by Daemon Tool

well the other thread is closed so i guess i should post here, the method posted below was dodgy, when it was creating shortlists it says " copy protection failed ", anyone got passed this?

Just to clarify, demon means a new version of EP4 was released an hour or so after the original version of EP4 was released.. You can read on the official forums as to why a new version got released, its pretty funny...
Anyways, HERE (http://gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk/blueyondergames/championshipmanager4/patches/407_enhance_nodata.exe) is fast European link to the updated EP4 from Blueyonder..

yeah what happened is (just cant close my big mouth) the game came out with the stats washing up instead of crossing.
(probably because they feel the jerseys are now very important in 2d)
anyway, the new update will change all that.:) :D

When are you going to get it? There is no 'proper' crack for this patch yet... Use D-Day's work around until a real crack turns up - BW

You need to have the CM4.iso that you have created loaded on the daemon tools virtual drive, then run the cm4 as usual, it will check for the original cd and will "find it" on the daemon tools fake drive so you can play.

i tried the iso way but everytime i look the f drive which it made just says cd and has the patch in but i cant see it.

To all you saying it doesn't work, you MUST remove the copied disk from the drive!!! else the cm4.exe will look at that disk first and will display copy protection failed, you have already made a fake CD drive with the cm4.iso on it, you don't need the copied CD in the drive!!

Open WinISO, click on the ADD buton, then search for the cm4.exe file on your PC, then click on the WinISO save button and save it as cm4.iso.
Then open it with daemon tools on a mounted virtual drive, then run the game as usual, without the copied CD into the cd drive.

Am putting the Deviance Cracked Update, Exe Only, and Trainer up again.

Just downloadet the "Crack Only" and for info, it still come up asking for the Cm4 cd.. But after pressing "ignore" 2 times, it continue loading the game..
Dont know if its a bug.. Have anybody tried the crack posted on this thread and how did it work out? Did it come up asking for the cd?
I'm playing with the DEViANCE crack right now (the same one I sent you via email), I'm not being asked for the CD..

I have received the email from you.. But the only file included is the NFO file..
A bit strange.. The NFO fileīs size is 4 kb, but the rar file is 2,5 mb.
Barca, update your copy of WinRAR to the latest version (v3.20), this should fix that problem you are having.
I have now downloadet winrar 3.20 and installed it with succes.. and I can now see and extract the cm4.exe from the file I received from you..
But Im still getting that error..
When Im starting a new game or making a quick start, it come up asking for the cd..
and after pressing "ignore" 2 times, it continue loading without problems.. Very strange..
One question..
Is the crack you send me a no-cd crack or a crack for copied cdīs? (means that I have to burn cm4 down on a cd and have it in my cd-drive)

The crack doesn't work that good. The description of wonderkid is gone in the game. You see only you're own wonderkids.
If the wonderkid description is gone it means that EP4 removed it and not the crack.
And i believe it's more fair to only see your own wonderkids, not the wonderkid from China who you won't have the slightest clue he's a wonderkid in real life.
I just downloaded the crack only and not the one that contains also the update. Now i haven't got a problem anymore!

Its a NoCD crack and is good for either situation...

Theres no real point in doing D-Days method now (not that it wasnt appreciated)... just use either of the NoCD cracks now.

Well I hope you's all got your fix - have decided to remove the first link (16MB) for two reasons:
Firstly there's not much point in having it cos you can just download the official patch elsewhere and use the crack from above.
And secondly, it alone has cost about 30GB in traffic over the last 4-5 hours. There's always the leechers from thedugout.tv and net and MG that appear the in the leecher logs also. They'll now just see a nice little Stop Leeching text.
Gonna change the link to the crack only a little bit to stop the leechers on that for now, and will take down when GCW updates.

Updated my legit copy of Champ Manager 4 today and have since been unable to play it due to my CD drive hating the copy protection.... grrrrrr Thus the fixed EXE is a godsend.

I dont think these pages were such a waste... Think about it, if there was'nt a sticky for this game, there would have been loads of threads enquiring about a crack for this game... I reckon it would have happened even more with the latest patch because of the time it took to get a new crack out to people... Perhaps, perhaps people even went to D-Days work around instead of a crack... we will never know...
I dont know, I reckon this game was a good title to do a little trial on,and I think it worked very well... Perhaps, other big games will also get their own 'Official' threads (but maybe not Stickys) to stop the forum getting cluttered up with loads of dupe threads, or perhaps this thread will be removed as a failed experiment, you never know. Doing it this way would make it easier for 'newbies to find help..

It was a good idea, I only had to close/delete a few threads so most people seem to be able to grasp the concept :D If we keep on doing this regularly for 'hot' titles like bf1942 and whatever new game comes out, it would really clean up the board a bit. But no more than two or three of such stickies at the same time though...
Yes it seems like many pages wasted but i am almost 100% sure that around the same amount of pages would have been wasted with all the single threads that would have been created then locked, then newly created then then then... and 15200 view really means something.
P.S. I still can't see from where so many views...

Well it's very easy to see where all the views appeared from - the thread link has been posted in many many places (cos of the anti-leech) as well as the direct link to the file (which didn't work out for them :p ). So loads of new people visiting the forum leading to huge number of views.
If such viewing figures are displayed on other such upcoming threads, we may discuss changing the title of the forum rules to something more appealing considering it's viewing figures.

I wanna say sorry for my ignorance, but i was really panicked when I installed the patch without checking first if the no-cd crack is available or not. You know its hard for me to not play the game even 1 day.
Oh gosh now i have to count the days till its available or should i reinstall the game and stuck on patch 4.05.

Could anyone help with a small problem with the newest CM4 version?
Every time I play, everything goes well ītil I try to do any tactic-changes! Then comes a "Warning"-window that says "Attempted to create widget in invalid column, or table has no LAYOUT."
After a couple times I tried it with the ISO-thing (which I think I did right), but it didnīt make any difference.
The warning goes away if I press about
10 times on OK (the only option), but comes back next time I change tactics.
BTW. I took the CM4 file from:

Zambrotta, that might be a CM4 error and nothing to do with the crack (btw, i don't have that problem).
There are all sorts of strange error pop-ups appearing since EP 4 especially when you continue a saved game.

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I noticed how quickly the number of views was rising...
Perhaps, we will try the next 'Official' thread with, say a Battlefield 1942 patch (probably this one) or Raven Shield patch or a Warcraft Patch and see what kind of hits that gets...

Guys i always get my patches from here..
Anywayz.. about 6 days ago i downloaded the EP4 crack which worked wonderfully and played it.. unfortunetly.. i had to uninstall and reinstall my CM4 again so now i need the patch again..
because i didnt save it on my disk.. i just opened it from source!
Any wayz so now i come back to the same place i downloaded it from.. and i see all the links to it are gone.. and i know D-day's method works but thats a lot of work and is for the more Smart compuer poeple.. i remember downloading a NO-cd EASY to download patch from GhostShoker's post i think.. which was way eaiser..
BTW.. i went to GCW and its weird it says Championship manager 4.07 English fixed.. but when u click on it.. it gives you instructions on the page.. but there IS NO WHERE To CLICK And DOWNLOAD the file??

Took the links away cos GCW were hosting it...anyway the reason you see no download icon may be because you have adblocking software running on your computer.
Try disabling this software and try again.

Any of you guys who are using these no-cd fixes and stuff.. i was just wondering have u guys been able to successfully install Player packs and Club logos
There are some really cool/neat things you can do to customize ur CM.. one of them which has been a long dream of mine is to click on a player and have his face appear in the top right corner of the title bar.. where the cm logo is!
Another thing is to when u click on a club.. you see their logo in the top right corner??
However i've done all the instructions and put everythign in the right folders and still cant get this to work? i was wondering if anybody has been able to do this??? because i've tried everything and it dont work

Has anyone else had trouble connecting to LAN/Internet games with this crack. Works fine without crack and fine with previous cracks but not with this one
