Hi,

First of all, sorry my english not very well. My name is Daniel, I am a new user.

I got a problem with my computer, I want to use 3 optical drives (dvd rom, cd writter and dvd writter). Before is working fine, but now the computer won't recognise the one of my drive. I put the first IDE in motherboard for hdd and cd writter, the second IDE for dvd rom(master) and dvd writter. The computer won't recognise the cd writter. I don't know what is wrong, because a couple weeks a go it's all drives was recognised. I already changed the IDE cables but still same. They're only recognised the hdd, dvd rom and dvd writter. I already looked for the BIOS, but couldn't find anything according this matter. Everytime I put the IDE cable same with the hdd the one of my optical will not recognised.

My system:
ASUS a7v8x
athlon 2500xp
windows xp pro
dvd rom liteon
dvd rw pioneer 105
cd rw liteon
seagate hdd

Please help and thanks!!!

Did you change the jumper on the back of the cd drive?

It should be set to "slave"
