Don't have 22 awg in handy and may be hard to find.
Does anyone used 30 awg Kynar and got it working?
How about 24 awg, may be I can get my hand on 24 awg wire.
32 gauge kynar will usually work for power and ground. I have heard of some cases where it doesn't though. 24 gauge would be much better to go.

It'll work if everything else is perfectly wired and the lengths are as short as possible.
With Messiah 2, 26 awg will do. Thicker wires for power/gnd is better because it reduces bounce and capacitance. SHort is best for GND.
