Magic 3.1 question

I found a good price for the Magic 3.1 chip + installment and I'm wondering if its worth it? Or should I really just get the Messiah2 Pro chip?

btw... Can the Magic 3.1 chip be detected when I play Online (socom, midnight club2, FF11) ???

No chips can't be detected by online games.

I have a magic 3.1 and so far have had no troubles with it, boots psx games no problem and thus far every ps2 game fine.
