i was messing about with system config on ps2 and came across
two setting disk speed slow/fast and normal/smooth what is this?

its for ps1 games fast makes it load faster but may mess up sounds (ie silent hill the people talk faster than they are suposed to) and smoth kinda makes it look nicer (ie in silent hill you can to the snow on things like when you go to the alley in the beginning the remanes of the dog is outlined in snow and you can see the snow on the trees)
