Im looking for a Flip Top case for a v5 Ps2.I need somewhere in the UK or Ireland that sell them who accept postal orders/Sterling Drafts (i dont have a credit card) and in the case of the UK ship abroad.
plz help.
Are these guys legit ?

Hey, heard some bad things about the flip tops.
Read some on here and on other forums people really don't like them.

Well the Slide Card and the No Solder mod ruin your tray, and there my only 3 options seeing as nobody fits modchips where i live so i have to do it myself.
You could always ship your PS2 to a M8 of mine and have him install a chip for you.....:D

Im from Ireland, the only reason i mentioned the UK is because i want to buy from somewhere in Europe that speak english.
I could still ship it to dust but i had a bad experience last time i shipped my Ps2 to be chipped (long story).Anyway if i cant get it chipped in my own town im gonna do it myself, and with my limited knowledge that means a Flip Top.
I will vouch for DUST....

I understand your concern...... BUT....... You will be VERY PLEASED with Dust chipping your PS2......
Hell..... I'm in the US and he chipped mine.....:)
Don't short change yourself with a flip top.......
You would be MUCH happier with a Messiah 2.......

Sawdust: I know Mick and he's a great guy but he's based in Dublin (i dont live in Dublin, far from it) so id have to send it through the post, and after what happened my last Ps2 (a v3, i have a v5 now) thats not an option.
If there was somebody in my home town i could just drop my Ps2 into and collect it later id do it but there isnt.I know the swap magic + flip top approach is crap but if its a choice between being able to play most imports and backups (minus dvd rips) and being able to play none then ..........go figure.

and I say send it to dust
because there isn;t a lot of irish people who chips ps2 or who wants to get their ps2 chiped
i say the man based in dub is the only one in ireland

No he didnt but the couriers bust it on the way back.It was insured but only enough for the Ps2.I got a new v5 but i had to send them my bust v3 as it was so that was almost 100 euros that i spent on the chip + installation down the drain for nothing.
mick chipped my ps2 and is 100% no prob recommening to any one just make sure that it is well packed i used the box that came with

When did i say i didnt believe you ?, what happened my Ps2 WAS NOT Micks fault, it was the couriers.Sure it was just one long string of bad luck but its one id rather not repeat.100 Euros might be nothing to some people but its a lot of money to me.
