Does anyone have these games with no intro from Echelon ?

Unless someone that has them and removed the intro themselves with a hex editor, I don't think it was released without it. I really wish they wouldn't put those intros.

Me too : I can't remove black borders with these intros. :/

Been doing some hex editing lately and was succesful :)

Hey Megalexxx, send me the binaries (just the 1st_read.bins) and I'll see if I can remove the intros.

I'm almost sure it's not that easy : for some of their intros, Echelon compressed the real 1st_read.bin and they decompress it in real time, while loading. I doubt there's an easy way to get the original file, unless you know the compress method...

In Crazy Taxi, the only add their intro just before the original file, so this one is easy to remove.

Anyway, give me your email. I'll send you the files.

Yeah you're right, some games are decompressed that way, such as Skies of Arcadia.

Funny, my Crazy Taxi does not have that intro (Neither 1 or 2)

Anyway, send them to hacker3nine********com

In order to get the game in full screen besides the generic 50/60 hz patch it requires also the change of 0C 84 02 2F F2 60 by 30 E0 02 2F F2 60 on the 1stread.BIN at least for vol 5 since i don't have vol 6 i can't check it.

Yes, I know that, but do you know how to remove these intros ?
