NBA Street 2 help

Does anyone know if NBA Street 2 Pal version needs a patch as I have backed it up using recordnow max and it stops on the loading screen of the game. I have a v4 PS2 with a magic 3.1 modchip. To me, it seems like it needs one and if so, where do I get it and how do I apply it using recordnow max. Thanks.

i have the pal version with a ntsc patch
and i dont have a problem.. with it..
i think it my be the magic crap
not sure..

anyone has a similar experience?
