Hi there whats the difference between the printable and non printable Riteks? Im planning on gettin the 100 pack from rima.com but was wondering what the difference, can i not write on the dvds with non printable or does it only mean for label stickers?
You can write on both of them. The printable ones are for if you want to use an inkjet printer. Rima is actually out of the regular ones right now, but the injets are only $5 more for a 100 pack.

what do you mean if i want to use an inkjet printer? Do you mean making labels??
And when will rima have more of the others ones in stock?
You actually print on the discs themselves. Look here (http://www.meritline.com/ezprincolpri.html). Rima usualy isn't out of stock very long. Should be less than a week.

Thanks for clearing that up for me :)
Ok 1 more thing I heard that if you put labels on the dvd's it can make the discs heavier and wear out the eye faster? Just wondering.
Weight isn't the problem. The problem is if the labels aren't on perfectly they can screw up your disc. I personally just use a Sharpie to label my games.
Yes, new inkjet printers are coming with special trays that allow you to print directly onto a CD or DVD. Whacky, huh?

Im really impatient waiting for rima to get more of the 100 pack instock, should I wait or just go for the printable ones even though I wont be printing on them from a printer?
Is there any difference in quality, dye, speed or anything?
Same discs, just different color top. Only $5 more. Go for it.

Thanks Im gona order them tommorow also gona pick up a Pioneer A05. Expensive stuff i tell ya gettin into this. Thanks for all your help!! Im sure ill be back bothering to learn about actually priducing working 1:1's lol Thanks!!!
Sounds good. It may seem expensive at first, but it is worth every penny. You'll see. Just follow the backup procedures sticky for burning games. Use RecordNow Max for dvd games and CloneCd for cd games. You will also want to get this (http://www.xtracerfilez.net/filez/A05/Final/DVR-105_v1.30_RPC-1_2xDVD-R_12xRip.exe) firmware for your A05. This will allow you to burn your Riteks at 2x.
