madden 2003

I am having trouble backup madden 2003, Record Now Max will only read part of the disc then it gets an error. The disc is a little sratched up, but it still works fine in my PS2. Is there some trick to backing up Madden or is it the disc?

It is the disc. Discs have to be in better shape to back them up than they do to play them. You can try cleaning the disc with soap and warm water but you will likely need a new original.

turning down the read speed normally helps
