X-box reading disc

Hi. New to this forum. I have a new X-BOX and it can read backup of cdrs and dvdr. Is this normal or have I have a certain drive that can.No mod added.

if you mean the xbox plays backups of audio cd's and dvd's then this is perfectley normal. i have a unmodded "virgin" xbox which reads cd's backed up to cd-rw and backed up dvd's on all format dvd discs.

however you need a mod chip to play backed up xbox games and run any non microsoft programme such as evolutionx aka evox.
