Does anybody know exactly how good the Sony CRX220A is? I wondered as I want something to replace my existing Plextor 12/10/32A. Which is best:

1. Lite-On LTR-52246S
2. Sony CRX220A

Which would work best with CloneCD (The Lite-On looks superb) but the Sony isn't listed on Elby's site and I couldn't see anything here. I know the Sony is made by Plextor so which is best???

(it needs to be able to read subchannel and write all protections. It also needs to write CD+G). Thanks a lot...

Get a Lite-On. They are proven winners, especially when burning protected games.

Does the Lite-On do CD+G and read Subchannel? Thanks for all your help so far.

Also, does anybody know what the Sony is like? Cheers...

Mailed them. In the meantime, I will try and find some more info. It would be handy if someone knew if it did support CD+G. Any help is much appreciated...

Actually, looking upon it - the LiteON doesn't actually support CD+G which means it is NO good to me! It's looking like a new Plextor 48x from Dabs.com

The 52x is a bit expensive for what extra it'll do - I'll go for the Plextor 48/24/48 (They are class afterall!) :D
