video difference TV ? PC

I just got a XboX and like it a lot.
But I was wonder... games on PC seem to look different. More 3D or something. Not that the Xbox doesn't look good, it does.
Is it he resolution or the way pixels are different on a TV?
Does anyone else see this difference? Or am I nuts?

A monitor has umpteen times the resolution a tv can produce. However the XBox does support HDTV so get Dragons Lair and watch it in 1080dpi trully amazing
