still having problems with copies does it matter that the recordnow max software is a trial version.

does the coping fine so it says but still will not boot on ps2.

is there any add ons that should be installed

if someone could help it would be appciated cherrs.:confused:

You do have a mod installed right? The trial should work fine. What brand media are you using and what version is your ps2?

the mod chip is ok as purchased dvd-r copies and working fine

media is bulkpaq generation 4 2x dvd-r

version ps2 is schp-39003

What version is the trial? 4.11 or 4.50? I know some people have probs with 4.11. Make sure your original is clean and there are no scratches. Have you tried a different game?

tried three games now and all copied sucessful or as it seems. not one of them boot up used six disks in total.

ver trial software is 4.5

Sounds like a possible media problem. I would try a different brand. You aren't multitasking while burning are you? Is your drive set as master?

I found that I saved myself a lot of money and wasted DVD-Rs when I first got my writer by using DVD-RWs. I bought two Verbatims at Radio Shack for $10 each and have used them tonnes of times. Once I got everything in order I started using the Riteks DVD-Rs. I'm sure I saved myself a 25 pack worth of coasters though. I normally use them when I'm trying new software too.
