View Full Version : Unreal2 The Awakening How? Please Help

I bought Unreal2 monday 12th May ( Great Game ). I returned home on Tuesday evening to find my Flat Broken into. The Bast**ds Stole all my PC games as well as my Laptop. Unreal2 is installed on my Desktop PC but the CD that runs the game was in it's case. I have downloaded the No CD exe file but when I drop the patch over the Unreal exe I get the message to load the Play CD into my CD Drive. Am I doing something wrong or does the patch only work with the CD in the Drive. Sorry to sound dumb but I'm new to all this. Please Help. Thank you.

stole ur games and ur laptop and not your pc.. yeh right.. very believable, file an insurance claim, buy new copies of the game with the money.. sorted.. and the no-cd should work if you did a full install

What's Your Problem? There are also expensive Guitars here which were not taken so go figure. I'm not after sympathy just a little advice, so if you can't offer either P* ss Off.

IF U INSTALLED THE CRACK PROPERLY U SHOULD HAVE A WORKING COPY OF UT2 WITHOUT HAVING TO USE THE CD
BUT IF U HAVENT CRACKED IT PROPERLY AND F***ED SOMETHING UP UR GONNA HAVE TO BUY THE GAME AGAIN SORRY

With regards to installing the crack properly, Do I just drop the Patch into the Unreal2 exe? Like I said when I did this previously I was asked to place the " PLAY " CD into the Drive. Confused!!!

try pressing okay when it says put the play cd in

dont forget to copy it into the \system directory in the directory you installed unreal tourney to, and sorry if it sounded harsh, but i thought you were gonna use the 'my cds got stolen, can someone send me a file/key' etc line.

No problem Tippex, The Laptop had 5000 quids worth of music software which we use live as well as all my college work for the last 2 years so you can understand my anger. Are you aware that the game is Unreal2 The Awakening and not Unreal Tourney. Could someone hold me by the hand and take me through the process as it is still not working. In reply to Datawriter when I place the patch over the Unreal2 exe It asks me to Place the Play CD in the drive but I can't click OK as the only options are Retry and cancel. Any Ideas? Cheers Guys.
