Are there any X-box DVD9 games available? Which mod-chip can play X-box DVD9 games(backups)? I heard Star Wars KOTOR will be a DVD9 ???

The modchip doesn't have anything to do with the features of your Xbox - the bios does. You seem to be confused on what the chip does and what the bios does.
The chip only allows the factory MS bios to be skipped and another one loaded in its place.
That pretty much means that you can play almost any video format IF you have software written to do it which means if a lot of people want it someone will probably write it!
