View Full Version : Def Jam Vandetta
Hey I made a back up copy of def jam with my dvd drive with nero 5.5.10.20 I burned a copy on maxwell dvd+r I know there a ****y brand I just wanted to see if it worked when I started burning it asked if I wanted to burn as a multisession or not a multisession I choose to burn as a multisession and at 2.4x I put it in the ps2 v7 messiah2pro and it came up to browser screen it seen that there was a dvd+rw in there I press X to load up and it acted like it was going to load it went to a black screen and then back to the browser screen So I'm thinking maybe I should't have burned as a multisession or maybe I need better media anybody got any suggestions thanx
NEVER burn Multisession! Always close the disc after the write. Sure, you also need some better DVD-R ( but then again, you don't need me to tell you that, LOL:D ). Try to burn again but this time do NOT create a multisession disc. Also, if you find that you have trouble burning with Nero at any time, use RecordNow MAX - it's great!
Hey thanx for responding when I got home I tried to burn the game again this time I didn't use multi session and it came up with the same thing I put the game in and it went to a black screen and then back to the browser screen. I'm using the dell dvd+rw NEC 1100A dvd burner with maxwell dvd+r media let me know if you have any suggestions it plays ritek dvd-r fine no prob l8ter
If Ritek work fine then the problem is obviously the media. Ditch the Maxel and stick to Ritek.
If you have an earlier version PS2, like 1-4, then the -r is a much better choice and is probably what you need.
Hey thanx for the response I found out what the problem was a bad image. I remade the image at 2x and burned it onto a maxwell dvd+r and have had no problems with it so far played it a good 4 hours last night no skipping or locking up I also backed up gta vc and devil may cry no problems at all thanx for the suggestions l8ter
