i do a full install of the game and it installs fine then i go to play the game and it starts to look for the original cd and says please insert cd 1 i bought it here in ireland would this copy be different than everyone elses cause gamesmaster says it doesnt need a cd crack or a fixed exe did any one else experience this ?

Games can have different copy protections in different countries. You can use cdkiller's copy protection util (http://galileo.spaceports.com/~cdk/Protection_ID_v23.rar) to identify the copy protection used.

what i meant was the version i have means i don't need a no-cd exe i play it without a cd straight from install

That depends on how you burned it, with clone cd you wont need cracks for some game's

THe Irish version (& probably UK) uses SecuROM NEW (4.8)...I have been looking for a crack & haven't found one for it
