Xbox Controller S Becomes Standard in Europe

Microsoft Europe today announced that the smaller version of the regular Xbox controller, dubbed Controller S in the US and Europe, is now the standard Xbox controller and will be packaged inside all the Xbox systems sold in Europe.

Originally developed exclusively for the Japanese market, the controller was later released in western markets as an extra peripheral while the larger-size controller was still packed in with the console. Due to the popularity of the smaller controller, Microsoft has decided to take this step.

Now why in the hell would any one want to use the S controller???

i prefer the larger standard controller, granted iv'e had well over a year of using it but i would rather use this than the s controller, it was developed for the oriental marked as their hands are normally smaller. but over here the s controller would only be usefull for kids

I don't know about that. I've seen some kids kicking ass on Halo with those normal sized ones. But I can see where it would be easy for them to use.

uhh u get used to both controllers quite fast but i prefer the smaller controller cuz its like that of the psx/ps2, and other varieties there of
