BF1942 no-cd problem

When my friend tries to play the game all he gets when he starts it is a small window that goes away in about half a second and then it quits to windows..

He has patched to v.1.31 and the same problem occurs with Road to Rome..


Any help would be appreciated..

Edit: Forgot to mention that he has tried all the no-cd cracks that he could find and they all have the same problem..

this is the most common error in battlefield.

GO TO A BATTLEFIELD SITE AND SEARCH FOR "renderer.allowallrefreshrates"

This has got nothing to do with a crack.

SEARCH FIRST, THEN ASK
