Hey guys. Just wanted to know what the best CDs are for burning games and backing up data.
Thanks Eddie
Basically any name brand will do. Verbatim, TDK, Memorex, etc.

Here are the discs I recommend.
- (In Australia) Sony CDQ80NX3 Color Mix (Made in Japan)
- (In USA) Fujifilm 80min CD-R 48x (Made in Japan)
- Taiyo Yuden That's CD-R CDR-80WPY or CDR-80TY (Made in Japan)
- Verbatim Datalife Plus Super AZO 48x (Only buy Datalife PLUS!)
- TDK 48x - (Don't buy TDK Gold!!!)
- Sony CDQ80N4 1x-40x Phthalocyanine
- Mitsui Gold or Mitsui Silver
Here are the discs I DO NOT recommend:
- (In Australia) Laser Gold
- (In Australia) Mr.Data/CMC
- Imation
- (In USA) KHypermedia
- Verbatim Datalife/Valulife (Unless the pack says "Pastel")
- TDK Gold
- Sony CDQ80N1/CDQ80N2/CDQ80N3
- Memorex (They use low quality discs in general!)

So does that certain Sony CD have the best quality. Is there a certain CD that is the best for burning games on to.
Thanks Eddie
You are worrying too much about this. Basically any cdr will work. Many including myself have had good success with Verbatim and TDK.

If you want your data CD's to work flawlessly with every burner and to last long, don't use CD-R's that I say I don't recommend.
The plain Sonys that don't say "COLOR MIX" on the packaging are made by Lead Data and are the lowest of low quality, producing killer amounts of C2 errors at every speed.
