record now max problems!

Hi all
i've got 4 .gi files of devil may cry 2 disc 1
i used record now max
i clicked on burn image and browsed for the smallest 1 ( without brackets)
clicked on record and verify and verify every round
it started burning but then stopped at 76% and hanged there
i couldn't even stop the process....just hanged there
i'm using traxdata dvd-r's
i like to use dvd decrypter but since it's a gi file i used record now max
u know what might be the prob? and can i convert the gi file into an iso so i can burn with dvd decrypter??

btw i got a pioneer a05

It appears to freeze but really it is still burning. The clock probably is counting down and then goes back up about 7 seconds or so, and keeps doing that, right? Just let it keep doing that. You should get a successful burn even though it doesn't reach 100%.

Also sounds like you browsed for the file. It is much easier to select it from the dropdown window.

yeah this thing of the clock happened to me in another burn and i left it and it finished successfully but this time even the clock had stopped...
maybe i have a bad copy of record now max??
any other ideas?

What version are you using?

Download this (http://downloads.stompinc.com/support/stprnm450v.exe) file. It will upgrade you to 4.50, which is much better.

thanks bighap for all your help but i couldn't upgrade my record now max cause when i opened the file i've d/loaded from the link you told me, it told me that it was corrupted..
anyway i resolved my problems by uninstalling it and then i installed a copy i had of prassi primo dvd which it used to give me problems but that this time worked flawlessly!

this is another download burning help thread

please look rule 4

if he had the origanal then he could use dvd decrypter as normal

please sort out the rules or enforce them on everyone

surely rules must be applied or removed

removed being the best option for this rule
