ps2 lasers need a quick reply thnx

yes can some one give me a link to a site that tells how to take a laser out of the ps2 and install a new one step bye step i tryed takeing laser out befor but had no success

Could not find a guide with pics, or at all for that matter. So here's the readers digest on it. I assume that you already have removed the drive. Remaove the top of the DVD drive, 4 small balck screws. Turn the drive upside down, slide the white bar all the way to the right and pull the disc tray out to the eject position.Now turn it back over and you should see the laser\motor assembly. To remove the laser just take out the two screws holding down the rails that the laser slides on and lift them up and pull the laser off.
