whats so good bout action replay 2

maybe im being thick but i havent plunged into buying a £30 item for the ps2 yet part from games i can get cheat codes and manually enter them so why the need fo action replay does it do more?

It works as a booting device for those unfortunates who have chips that need them.

Beyond that I think it's just your average Game Shark-type game cheater.

If you like to cheat it is the tool to get. You get lots of codes with GS2/AR2. Like mach7 said, it it also used as a boot device if you have a swap mod.

Also, it includes a memory card manager and a multi-region DVD player (in V2).

the cheats you can get are more advanced than the button codes.

they let u use cheats the game developer didnt want to...

i have used AR's since the first game genie came out, i like to cheat when i get annoyed (LOL).

they are worth it, and especially the V2 with the Memory card manager that can compress ur saves, my SmackDown: JBI save was 6 meg it compressed it to 200k or somethin small like that.

the multi region dvd thing is also good, as you can watch ANY region dvd without tinkering with your insides.
