Hello to everyone. I'm new and i don't speak english very well. I wuold like to know if there is a way to backup my PS2 games (my son is a PS2 game killer) using the Matsu****a/Panasonic 9571 DVD-R(W). I'll try with PrimoDVD 2.0 but it doesn't identify my DVD writer. With Istant Copy i have a problem when i'm tring to burn, but i don't understand what it is.
Can someone help me? Otherwise i need to buy the same game twice when my small child find it!
Thank you very much for your patient.

The best ps2 dvd burning program is RecordNow Max. You can download the demo here (http://downloads.stompinc.com/files/stpRNM450e_STPD.exe)

I have a similar problem with Recordnow max. My dvd burner (Sony DRU500 A) isnt identified. I've downloaded and installed pxEngine, and even uninstalled RNMax 3 and installed version 4 with no luck.
Does anyone know if its the way i have my drives setup?
How should they be setup?

Is it possible to use Nero Burning 5.5.10.20 to solve the problem? Can nero backup PS2 Games or it needs some setup before? I tried with instant copy but I didn't try it again on PS2. The copied DVD is 300kb less than the original: is it normal? Have i wrong something? I use Goldstar as DVD-R: are them good?
Please somebody help me!
Thank you very much!!!!

RecordNow Max 4.5 is the only version that could see my external version of that Sony burner.

EDIT: RecordNow DX works as well.

Thank you very much my friend. Can you say me if Goldstar DVD-R are good media or not?
The modchip inmy PS2 is named Titan, this is the name that the seller told me, but I didn't find anything on Internet: is it the right name or is it a nick for another name?
If Titan is right, do i need a boot before? I tried with a copy made with Istant Copy and it doesn't work: after 3 reboot it show me something, but it stop after Activision logo (the game is Tenchu Wrath of Haven - a really beautiful game).

Thank you for your help and your patient. I hope you can answer me soon.
Thank you.

RecordNow Max is the best ps2 burning software as I mentioned above. Never heard of the Titan chip. Probably a clone of some type. You might also be booting your game incorrectly. Try using some of the boot methods listed in the boot procedures sticky.
