Burning Playstation ISO

I have an ISO file which I want to burn to CD to play the game in a playstation.

I have tried.....

1) Extracting all the files using WinISO & then burning with Nero.
2) Burning just the ISO file with Nero.
3) Burning an 'image' of the ISO file with Nero

and probably another 1 or 2 different combinations, but have had no luck.

Where am I going wrong ?

Use the same program you used to create the iso to burn it.

What happends when you put the CD in the playstation? does i go through the Playstation Diamond screen, and then stalls on the black screen?

i have problems with certain files too.. but i think it might be because my mod chip is quite old.

I didn't produce the ISO file, I 'stumbled' across it.

When you put the CD into the playstation it locks up at the plack 'Playstation' screen along with some of the characters on that screen being missing.

Any other things I could try ?
