this HUGO-X thing has got me wondering cuz the stats say it can play psx games...
and also this too:

XPort author of Hugo-X among other emulators for the XBOX, has released a new CD dissecting tool appropriately named CDDissect v1.0 This is a DOS tool written to extract the ISO and Audio tracks from a Turbo GFX 16 CD, Sega CD, or PSX CD, it will also create a CUE sheet and assign file names that are 100% compatable with Hugo-X as well as GensX.

so....
......does this mean the xbox, via hugo-x can play psx, and possibly sega cd?

If this is true, it would be sweet. Just another great addition to the Xbox Emulator world.

you might be able to dl linux and use epsxe. dont know if the xbox can run it at full speed though

hmm epsxe?
is that the psx emu?
it seems that hugo-x just may be able to rip the iso
and play the game off the iso
but im not sure

I went to the website, it said it was a HU-GO! PSE emulator. Had nothing about playstation. But what you wrote about CdDissect makes it sound like it can play PSX games.

I just read the CdDissect nfo file, and it said it can be used to rip any type of game. Then it said psx and segacd in the examples. So I don't think it can play playstation games.

not dissin the xbox at all
its like the best system to date
but by gettin the psx
itll be like an ultimate system
with an hdd
xbox, snes, genesis, nes, gameboy, gba, n64 (hardly), mame
i mean
its like all the previous systems
add and xbox
and u got the xbox
the best system known so far
just psx with it too would make it amazin, even more so than it is

well.....apparently....if you load linux on your xbox hd along with epsxe for linux the xbox does load it
