Clone cd image sub..... probs.

I'm trying to backup ps2 games, I've read the tutorial about putting the PSXlibcrypt file into the clone cd profile folder.
When it comes to writing the image onto a disc, i get the message "IMAGE.sub does not match to IMAGE.img... Any ideas?

Yeah. I get this problem too. either that or the sub buffer runs out way before the disc is finished writing.

Its a compatibility problem with Clone CD and yr CD Writer.

U Could try reading the image again and this time ticking both Read DATA sub and Read Audio sub boxes before u start reading but sounds like the same problem that several people have had.

To be honest CloneCD ain't all that anymore. It was pretty good when it first came out but seems to get more picky with any regeneration.

Get PrimoDVD2 or Record Now Max and use that for PS2 CD's/ It works great ( just as good as copying PS2 DVD's).

what cdwriter do u use
if it works but fails at the end u normally find a firmware update will sort it

No, mine always fails at about 13%.

Have reverted to cloneCD3 which seems totally compatible and I get no probs.

I have an LG DVD/CD Writer (GCC 4120b)
and A Sony DRU 500 A DVD Writer:confused:

Could it be anything 2 do with how I've got the 2 drives set up?
And how should they be set up? ie Motherboard

DVD/CD Writer (slave)
\/
DVD Writer (master)

I cant remember if this is how i set it up , but if someone tells me, i'll check it out :p
