how to copy crashbash

I tried to copy Crashbash using the patch and PPF-o-MATIC, and I'm not having any success. I'm using CDRWin3.9b. Did everything that the instructions say to do( copy image to disk(name it C:\TEMP\IMAGE.BIN), and tried applying the patch and then burning it but I'm not having any luck. Can anyone give me any pointers. I've tried to burn this d*mn thing 4 times and wasted 4 discs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What CD-Writer have you got?
What modchip device have you got?

Check here (http://www.elby.ch/en/products/clone_cd/writers/a.html) to see if your writer writes RAW-DAO 96, if it does then use CloneCD to make a 1:1 backup of your original.

I have a phillips cd writer, and I did check to see if it supports raw 96, and it does. And I already have clone cd, so I'll try what you said to do with the clone cd. Does the clone cd program remove the protection? Thanks for the info,
