yes i was wondering aftr i get me ps2 apple instaed i would back up my gs2 on to a dvd-r cause i got my gs2 and for some reason when it loads it gose to red screen and i take good care of that cd theres no scratches at all on the cd. for some reson the gs2 cds r s**t i bought a gs2 1.6 off ebay still in package and put it in ps2 would not load so i have to goto walmart buy 2.0 and swtch it out and 2.0 worked for about 4 months now and just stops working so my negibor got a gs2 aftr i so we traded hes works in mine but some time i get red screen i also change read speed that helps some so im thinking if i burn it on dvd-r it may work better cause seems like dvd games work much better then cd games i also need to get a cd cleaner that might be a problem but not sure

GS2 can have problems booting. Not sure what its problem is but it just does it. I have the same problem with mine. I get it to boot but it can can take 5 tries sometimes. It is in perfect shape too.:confused:

I swear the GS2's are meant to self distruct. One day all the sudden all the codes are gone. Whenever I try to add a new game or anything it freezes. I just swaped the dongle with my cousins and It works now.

yeah mine did that heres how to fix it load gs2 w/o donngle then hit l1 l2 r1 r2 slecet start and when it says resetting back to fac defualt u put in the donngle and it resets it to work again i ask that ? on here awhile back but u lose all ur codes :(
