Sorry , can't help u on where to get them from as am in UK.

Try Bighap, he'll know where.

As for the prices, there was a world wide shortage recently of decent dvd-r media ( for the obvious reason) so prices went a bit mad but should have gone back down to original price again.

If sites r trying to charge u too extra still, don't use them cos they ripping u off and shortage is over.

Well im out of Riteks and did a little survey of prices on Ritek G03. cdrdvdrmedia.com was the cheapest on the 25pk. Heres the breakdown:

cdrdvdrmedia.com -----------$32.25 free ship
allmediaoutlet.com ------------$35.00 free ship
Rima.com -----------------------$30 + 4.15 shipping
shop4tech.com ----------------$46.00 free ship
meritline ------------------------$29.75 + 5.84 shipping
supermediastore.com --------$48.00

if anyone knows of anyother store that might be cheaper please post.

Good post Rubber. For a 100 pack rima.com is the cheapest at about $115. cdrdvdrmedia.com is less than 1 dollar more.

is ritek good for ps2 backup? i tho only verbatim and tdk are good for ps2 backup. I burned a copy on verbatim dvd-r, but it only works for 2 out of 10 times. tdk is much better... almost every time works on my v7.

Ritek is awesome for everything. PS2, movies....everything, and about a third of the cost of Verbatim and TDK.

Get some...... YOU WILL LOVE THEM....

Where can I get 2x TDKs? I've been getting them from J&R.com and they boot 100% of the time. You know the saying, if it's not broken, don't fix it. I want to buy them in packs of 100 or 50 if possible. J&R sells them in pack of 15. Thanks!

you can also try www.ebay.com There are tons of people that sell ritek blank dvd media at $80 dollars for 100 pack.

oops it was only the 50 pks for 80 dollars. 100 pks were selling for 150-180 dollars.

"you can also try www.ebay.com There are tons of people that sell ritek blank dvd media at $80 dollars for 100 pack"

AND there are also GOONS that are selling the Ritek G03 25pk for $40+$12 shipping and i seen the 100pk for $150. Just gotta watch who you buy from.

Ebay has gone down hill of late, I think. People charge crazy prices for shipping. You really don't get a deal anymore. Why would I buy something off ebay when I can get it for the same price at a retail store? Why take a chance with the person on ebay?

Lots of the time you can get things cheaper on ebay but I do agree with you about the shipping cost BS. $6 shipping for a cd and sh*t like that.

I agree on ebay. The shipping is outragous anymore. Its like the $12 shipping for a 25pk of Riteks. It actually costs $3 media mail to ship it. Its turning into sh!t-bay.:(
