Smartripper Question??

Do any of you peeps know if the new 2.41 version runs with winxp cos am not having much luck?
Comes up that aspi something(can't quite remember ) is missing and does not unlock all the levels not matter what disc i put in.

Also does anyone know if dvd decrpter takes out the region coding cos i am having much more success with this one..

Download and install the ASPI drivers from here http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/driverdetail.html?sess=no&cat=/Product/ASPI-4.70&filekey=aspi_471a2.exe

I have downloaded the file from the address you gave me and un-zipped and installed it but the same problem still re-occurs.
When i run the program it still says no 'aspi-adapter available',
Being a newbie i still not sure if i am doing this correctly, the other thing i find strange is that when i installed smartripper 2.41 it comes up with a file folder on my desk top but does not show in my program file...could that be part of my problem...so to bother you will this seemingly petty problem but as i said i am totally new to this and am a little clueless. lol

Sorry, can't help you with Smartripper cos I use DVD Decypter. Perhaps someone else on the forum can give you some advice.

I've just install Smartripper and it works ok.

Try downloading ASPI V4.60 as this layer is known to work with everything. Just do a search on the web you should find it ok.
