Why many PSX games doesn´t run on my PS2???

Hi i have a PS2 V7 with Magic 3

Ps2 Games no problems all games run

but PSX Games only a couple of games run.

This the games the are not running : Resident Evil all parts
Theme Hospital, Risiko.

Have anyone an idea.

I used a Pioneer A05 and Clonecd for Copys but no copy works.
has anyone an idea???

when you say they dont run, do you mean that you can't get the game to boot up? or do you mean it boots but gets no further?

are you using the correct boot method for your magic 3 chip?

• Power up from STANDBY with RESET button held until the blue EJECT light comes on; then release RESET and the disk will boot.

I boot like you write it than the ps1 logo appears and than the ps2 stops.

i tried it with the original Disk and it work.

plz help me
