Tried with Verbatim DVD+R 2.4X and Memorex 2x DVD-R and with a Sony DRU500a, both media have successfully copied games in teh past, but with world series it loads the opening scene (sportscenter) but does NOT load the menu screne

what is up?

I have now burned the game 3 times and NO LUCK, with 3 diff media and with nero and record now max, what is the deal, i have the lastest firmware for the dru500a 2.0e

Is your burner set to master? And did you try RecordNow Max 4.50 or an older version?

has worked dozens of times before, just a problem with THIS game, it is master and newer than 4.5

Primo prassi on lead data dvd-r.

Have had no problems with the game at all

The only problem is that the game has no challenge at all

Prassi wont recognize your drive anyways.

Im thinkin you have either a scratched disc or its faulty in some way. I have run across a ps2 game like this. The game was ICO and it had a pea sized roundish dip (like a warp) in the disc. I had to return the game. I caused havok on my cdr drive (since I didnt see it when I tried to back it up).

pioneer ao5 read and burn at 2x
media verbatim dvd-r
nero 5.5

messiah 2 in ps2


this probably doesnt help you but just wanted to let u know that it is burnable.
