Mame currently won't really run NeoGeo roms. It has something to do with the XBOX's RAM and the size of the NeoGeo roms. That's a pity, but maybe the next Version of Mame will do.

I doubt it. I've used Mame on different computers for a while and the NeoGeo roms always need the most memory. Patching the software wont help.
