game won't boot up after action replay?

my v4 ps2 has a messiah 2 pro modchip, just purchased an action replay. after i inputted new codes and started the game (original), the screen remained black as if it was loading up. should it take that long to load up, i waited about 3-4 minutes. what gives?

wot were u trying to boot up? CDR or DVD-R???

no, actually right now i was trying to boot up the original game, with the original actio replay.

That odd!!

Try switching the chip off ( Insert ar2 disc, go to standby then switch on but hold reset button for 5 secs then release, this should switch the messiah 2 off) then do what u were doing and see what happens!!

okay, i attempted to disable it, held reset button for 5 seconds, when screen sony screen loaded up it appreared like this:

nevermind, i tried resetting again and it didn't do that again. but when i'm still having problems loading up the game with codes. this time the it freezes on the screen where it tells you to press x to start or 0 to go back. maybe i put a bad code. hmmmm
