I've heard a lot of groans about Spawn being in the Xbox version of Soul Caliber 2. I know his previous appearances in games have suffered the dreaded "cool superhero gets crappy game" syndrome. (memories of Superman64 still make me violently ill)

Anybody besides me happy to see Spawn return in a great series? Or is there a more worthy superhero?

what's with this spawn guy? soul calibur will be a great game without any superheroes - but still spawn looks at least better than link...poor gc-people...

The PS2 version has HeiHachi from Tekken. (the big older guy with mustache and wooden sandals)

sure zelda is the greatest of all RPGs - but this is it - it's a RPG!
but you guys are right - some new characters from other games in a classic are fun - i think we were lucky not to get super mario...although this might be funny too...
too bad my sc2 doesn't work off my HDD

Also an excellent swordsman. SSM proved him to be a great fighter. I just think spawn would be alot cooler if he had his cape.

yeah super mario is a true hero...imagine him hitting the guys from SC2 with his plunger...good stuff

Well who could stand up to Spawn if he had his cape and chains? :D They had to give the other characters a chance!!
