I recently burned a movie after following all of the instructions in the "Menus/Extras" guide on DVD2DVDR.com using DVD decryper, DVD2One, MAkeItEasy, and IFOEdit etc. I found that my VOB files were correctly sized and played correctly if I navigated to them through the PC but I could no start the DVD as normal - it would say unknown file format.

Obviously it doesn't recognize my disc as a dvd-movie. Is this because I used only a VIDEO_TS folder and not an AUDIO_TS one...I wasn't sure whether to because on the original DVD i only saw a VIDEO_TS folder and I wasn't sure that I had any files that were audio...Can anyone explain how this process works and what i need to do in future?

You must have an AUDIO_TS folder. Just leave this file empty. If you have an updated version of Nero use that to burn. It is very easy.

If you would just scrap Nero and use PrimoDVD. You would much happier. I use Smartripper to rip the Movie files to the HD. Then depending on how big the files are i use Ifoedit or DVD2one strip it down. If i used Ifoedit to strip then i use DVD2one to finish the process of striaghtening everything up. Then use Primo to burn.
