Quake 2 XBOX

I've downloaded the Quake 2 Port for Xbox. It runs perfect! Very cool! But I have one problem:

The networkplay. I tried to connect to my PC, but it did not work, because the Xbox executable has the Version Number 3.21 and my PC Version is 3.02. There is only the patch 3.20 out and the source for 3.21. The source!!! Great!!! But I have no idea, how to use C++ compilers :(
Who can help?

3.21 and 3.20 are indenticle network wise, 3.21 just fixes minor bugs, it was never released as a binary package by ID.

So Version 3.20 works with 3.21 via network?
