whats up guys!
ok what I'm trying to do is rip movies from ps2 disks.
i know they use .pss files, but most the games don't have them in there.
on the game .Hack they had a folder with about 4 .pss files, 1 was actually the opening movie, so that was pretty cool, but the rest were just things like the "bandai" logo opening and other sponsors in 5 second clips that you see in the beginning.
And Xenosaga didn't have any out at all
now i know these games had many movies so i guess they are in the other files in the disks, .Hacks files were all .bin's and i kind of forgot what xenosagas were (they had allot of files that went like this.... xenosaga.00, xenosaga.01, xenosaga.02)

for the ps1 i remember having programs that would explore the other files on the disk for pics and things like that.
is there any way to get to the other movies on the ps2 games, any progs that do it? or is there no real consistency with the ps2 games file setup as there was with the ps1 so there isn't any generic progs?

as u can probably tell i really don't know all too much of what I'm talking about with this sort of thing, i can encode movies great, but this is a little new.
thanks for any help, even if its just telling me it cant be done.

On the new PS2 game, i believe the movies are built into the data files.
